Melissa Camden

   Melissa's passion for studying body movement started at the very young age of 3 with training in dance and gymnastics until she graduated from The Indiana Dance Educators Convention.   She continued to develop her skills with her high school dance and cheer teams. In college, Melissa performed with the Indiana State University Sparkette Dance Team and taught gymnastics at a local YMCA.    Melissa has been practicing Pilates for many years, but really fell in love after it proved to rehabilitate an arm injury.   She loves to share her passion for Pilates by training people of all ages and all skill levels including clients rehabilitating from injuries to the avid fitness enthusiast.

In 2009, Melissa completed a Pilates certification from The PhysicalMind Institute where she studied mat, reformer, and cadillac classes.  Upon completing her training she began teaching at several studios and started her own in-home Pilates studio.  Her classes are instructive, strong, calming and genuine.  Additionally, she passed the Pilates Method Alliance or PMA exam to further her Pilates teaching skills.  Recently, she completed Yogafit training, and has started teaching yoga classes.   In her free time she enjoys spending time with her husband and dogs. She likes to stay active by taking Pilates, yoga, spinning and fitness classes.
