Melissa delivers a style of yoga that is intuitive, playful, and honest. Since 2006 she has specialized in using yoga to empower others to feel connected, balanced, and calm. Melissa has taught classes at premier studiios in Chicago, Buffalo, and Portsmouth. She currently teaches yoga throughout the NH seacoast area. Melissa draws on her background in psychology, her love of movement, and her 15+ years of practicing yoga to provide classes that awaken the body and quiet the mind. In the style of vinyasa flow, she is adept at weaving the familiar with the unexpected, which keeps her classes fun, fresh, and exciting. Expect challenge, flow, precise cuing, soothing hands on adjustments, and beautiful music.
Melissa is passionate about making yoga accessible to everyone (particularly those with special needs, excess worry, or limited time). Some of her specialties include delivering classes to children, couples, families, and individuals who struggle with stress and worry. One of Melissa’s favorite quotes is “happiness is a choice.” Melissa avidly believes that yoga can help to create new paths and increase happiness.
