Charlene’s passion for fitness is evident from her desire to remain a current and educated fitness professional. Her certifications in Yoga E-‐RYT 200 pursuing 500, Pilates Mat Certification, Vbarre, Stott Reformer, MadDogg Athletics Spinning, ISCA, AFAA, and taking part in TSI’s Foundations and Club educational programs has groomed her to become a vital part of the fitness industry. Her twelve years group fitness experience and five years fitness management experience offers her class participants and club members top notch dedication towards a lifelong change towards a healthy lifestyle. Currently, Charlene is certified to teach NYSC’s newest program, called VBarre. This workout is designed to tone and trim, using principles of movement used in ballet, pilates and resistance training. Additionally, Charlene is an Apprentice Teacher Trainer with YogaFit, providing instruction to new fitness professionals.
Charlene has also added Health Coach to her resume, working with those who are facing health and weight challenges and providing emotional support where needed. She has studied all the major dietary theories to determine a personal approach to each client. Charlene has assisted in the program development, recruitment and mentoring of trainers at some of the top fitness clubs on Long Island, continuing to assure quality education and professionalism to its membership.
