Essud Fungcap Jr.'s Bio
Essud is a certified E-RYT 200 Yoga teacher and a certified Taichi/Qigong instructor based in Atlanta and has been teaching since 2006. He has trained under Chinese Shaolin Center, Master Sifu Gary Tong, Dahn Yoga/Taichi(Taoist Yoga), and Vastu Yoga (Sivananda Hatha Yoga). He has an eclectic background and offers a unique blend of different modalities. The name Essud literally translates to South East, as he was given this name at birth because of his grandfather being from South East China(Canton-Guangzhou). His grandfather was also a Qigong & Tai Chi practitioner. At a young age, Essud was exposed to meditation and energy work by his father Estsud(Sr.). He grew up in a family of artists and healers and was also versed in different styles of martial arts, meditation, and holistic practices. Essud's classes, sessions, and teachings focus on the "healing" aspect of the mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual.
Sheri Gilburth Fungcap's Bio
Sheri Gilburth grew up in Jackson, MS. always wishing to serve her community and the world. However in the fall of 1999 she fell into a depression that led to anorexia/bulimia. In the fall of 2000 she left her dreams of college life in order to heal in the N. Ga. Mountains where her mother and father had purchased a beautiful retreat center property. Through the healing of her illness, Sheri remembered her earlier desire to help those in need, and gained a passionate empathy for the suffering of the world. In April of 2005, she graduated from the Atlanta School of Massage with a national certification in Massage Therapy and Asian Acupressure/Massage. She immediately opened her own private practice and a year later named her company Heart Center Therapy. Since graduating massage school Sheri has earned certifications in Reiki Mastery, Pranic Healing, Alchemical Hypnotherapy, and Craniosacral Therapy I & II, and has studied with many shamanic healers and medicine men/women. In addition to her one on one sessions, she now leads healing circles for women empowerment, and is currently writing her first book based on her own healing journey.
