Hello, My name is Victoria Purcell and I started practicing meditation and yoga in 2000 after being diagnosed with a Chronic Pain Syndrome. . I took an 8 week course in stress reduction and mindfulness at Jefferson Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. Through meditation and yoga, I found my Soul. Prior to this, I did not truly know what a Soul was. Yoga and meditation lifted my energy and helped tremendously in my healing journey. Having studied dance; ballet, tap, jazz and salsa since my early childhood, I was originally drawn to Kripalu's Yoga Dance. So, in 2006 I completed Kripalu's Yoga Dance Certification. This training allowed me to listen to my body and I knew that I had to share this experience with others. From this point, I continued to practice yoga on a daily basis. Yoga, Meditation and Dance is what keeps me centered and balanced. I went on to obtain my Vinyasa 200 hour teacher certification, as well as, received my certifications in Yin Yoga and Children's Yoga. My life's purpose is to share the healing science of yoga with others.
