John Porter is fitness professional with over 20 years of experience. Currently he is the Group Fitness Supervisor at Army Navy Country Club, where he oversees the program and teaches several classes a week. Previously he served as fitness director.

John also works for Aquila Fitness as a Health and Fitness Specialist, personal training individual clients and offering group classes.

Favorite group exercise formats include step, toning/strength, yoga and Pilates.

In the past, he has been an adjunct professor in the Department of Health and Human Performance at Marymount University and a contributor to "Broadminded" on XM Satellite Radio.
