I'm a passionate instructor of group fitness who believes in holistic health and well-being.  I aim to make my classes fun and enjoyable, while encouraging participants to challenge themselves.

Jerome Ng is so good as a group fitness instructor that it is hard do him justice in a testimonial without it sounding over the top. I have been an avid participant in group fitness classes for the past 18 years, and have had literally dozens of group fitness instructors in a wide variety of formats. I have seen the quality of both classes and fitness instructors improve over the years, and Jerome is an example of the highest quality instructor. Jerome masters the material of the group fitness formats with an instinctive ability and impeccable form and leads the group fitness classes and teaches the material of the group fitness formats with an intuitive ease and endearing charisma that could not be simply the result of training, no matter how good that training is. Jerome is an extraordinary talent both in the understanding and execution of the routines and in teaching the routines as he is doing them. If you have been training with Jerome, his is the voice you hear in the back of your head correcting your form and pushing you farther when you are taking a more perfunctory class or are following a less able instructor. This is because Jerome actually TEACHES you what you should be doing (and why you should be doing it), and although he does so with charisma, he is not simply using charisma combined with a memorized routine to do it. Jerome teaches with an authenticity that comes from a deep and intuitive understanding and technical mastery of the underlying mixed martial arts, tai chi, yoga and other fitness elements involved, combined with a natural gift at teaching these elements to others.

I have taken fitness classes from Jerom for over 4 years.  Over this time period, I have regularly attended at least 3 different types of classes led by Jerome, at two different clubs in my area.  Jerome always has the most amazing positive attitude.  He makes a point of building rapport in his classes, and is creative with teambuilding exercises in the class to promote interaction. He goes out of his way to introduce himself both in class and out, and always makes himself available for questions.  He's also great at working with people of all different fitness levels, and readily offers modifications for each exercise for beginners, advanced students who want an extra challenge, and even for people with specific injuries.  On top of all that, he is extremely reliable - he never misses a class, and frequently substitutes for other instructors when they can't make it.  His personality and teaching skill constantly draw people to the classes and fitness programs where he teaches.
