- Carrie Seyer
A former athlete accustomed to high-intensity sports and exercise her whole life, Carrie never explored yoga seriously until a skiing accident left her with a torn ACL. Unable to run while rehabbing her knee, yoga became an outlet that Carrie quickly fell in love with. The mind-body connection, focus, strength, and humility of yoga had her hooked. She decided to pursue her certification through CorePower Yoga in Chicago, IL.
Carrie teaches Power Yoga and Vinyasa Flow with heavy emphasis on linking breath to movement, core-strengthening, athletic-based sequencing, and good tunes. She believes yoga can be accessible to anyone regardless of their background or skill-level, and while there is always a place for chanting and meditation, her number one priority in class is to make some new friends, disconnect, and have fun.
