Kristina Wulbern

As a student at University of California Santa Cruz 20+ years ago, I was introduced to the 2 things that drove my passion from then on, yoga and massage. I have studied or taught yoga in some capacity or another ever since, starting with Iyengar Yoga for 10 years. I took the Integrative Yoga Therapy teacher training course about 14 years ago and didn't finish the home study portion of it due to life circumstances, opening a spa, having a baby, moving to Arizona. I kept getting pulled back to teach and had a group of students who were also massage clients. This grew and I realized it was time to make it official and finish the training and get certified, which I have just done. My yoga teacher training was in yoga therapy and  that combined with my massage background and deep understanding of anatomy, enables me to work with diverse populations, the average yoga student but also those with challenges such as obesity, heart disease, injuries, arthritis, MS, etc. I am also able to offer one on one yoga therapy sessions to help individuals become aware of their specific needs and move through restrictions.

Massage has been my main profession for the last 20 some years and yoga and massage fit together so well. I was certified at the University of California Santa Cruz in 1992 and have done many different courses on top of that for continuing education. I am Licenseed in the State of Arizona.
