My fitness journey began over 25 years ago when I began working out seriously for myself. Shortly after I wrote a business plan for a fitness center and in my early 30’s opened a full service facility. I was a single mom. I needed to work, make a living, and at the same time find a place to care for my daughter while I was working. Fitness was in my blood by this time so this facility was the perfect set up for us. Like killing 2 or 3 birds with one stone(if you figure in that I was going to have to fit exercise in my life). I was very grateful to have raised my daughter in that environment.
During this time I also owned a Curves for Women and sold it after 3 years. In 2010 I closed my facility. Since then I have been consulting for various fitness facilities, teaching classes and doing personal training and nutritional counseling. Today I run a fitness center where I do personal training, and I teach in other locations Pilates, Strength, and Senior Fitness.
