My classes are described as energetic, athletic, creative and fun.  I integrate a seasonality into my yoga classes, using the concepts of Ayurveda. 

 

ask students to experience the flow of a class by linking movements with their breath.  I enjoy helping students find new, deeper, or fuller expressions of an asana to enhance their practice and take it to the next level.  I create a new flow for every class, focusing on opening and strengtheing the body as requested by my students.  I am honored and grateful every time I step to the front of my mat and have the opportunity to lead one or more students in their practice.

In addition to teaching vinyasa, I am studying the ayurveda as it relates to yoga and nutrition.  I incorporate nutrition, meditation and general wellness into my yoga teaching.  I teach at a level that is approachable so that students can deepen their connection to their practice.  I want students to realize that they can have a deep and meaningful practice no matter where they are in their pursuit of yoga, fitness, or wellnes.
