An avid runner for years, I started taking a spin class for something different on off days.  I became certified 2011 from Maddogg to teach and have been teaching 2-4 classes per week. I had some injuries from running and took an interest in pilates as our gym only offered an advanced class and with most older folks who have injuries do not take to breathing properly (my mother and father were a prime example) I wanted to help others to strengthen their core and breath properly.  I asked the advanced Pilates instructor where he got certified and also in 2011 I became a beginners mat pilates instructor.  I enjoy helping others reach their potential of getting stronger and standing taller.

I am a high energy individual who owns a business with my husband.  I enjoy getting out and releasing from exercise.  I started teaching at the ymca in 2012 a weight training class called Body Flex.  Using all parts of the body with weights for strength.  Having trained in a gym , taken many classes I have taught coreboard using a weighted ball, bands and plates.

Most recently, I have had a great workout with limited time doing interval classes using the method called "tabata".  Great class to really feel strong and kick the adreniline up a notch.  I am scheduled to take a Burn with Kearns MMA kick boxing course in May 2013.
