Bio:
Bethany found her way to her first yoga class in 2002 while attending college in Denton, TX. Having struggled for years with depression and anxiety, she especially found herself struggling mentally and emotionally as a full time student and full time employee while trying to make ends meet and stay on the Dean’s List. One liberating, sweet savasana later - she was hooked for life. While her practice waxed and waned in those early years, after relocating to Los Angeles in 2006 she quickly recommitted as a way to find her voice and ground amidst the hustle of a big city. She has since been inspired by teachers Max Strom, Bryan Kest, Kathryn Budig, Daniel Stewart, Claire Hartley and countless others along the way. She believes yoga is a path back home to the true Self that fosters compassion toward oneself and others, and freedom from physical and emotional suffering. Her classes are strong, comforting and inquisitive as she encourages her students to find the calm amidst the challenge, to connect and to heal.
