Purchased OMNI Communications, which was a one person design studio, with a partner in 1980, and in 1981 bought the partner out. Over the next nine years, OMNI was incorporated as OMNI Communications, Ltd. and grew to become a full-service advertising/public relations agency employing nine people, and serving a variety of local and regional accounts. As president I was responsible for all new business strategies and presentations. 1986 - 1990 Chairwoman, Mayor Tom Young's Advertising Advisory Council Chaired a committee of local Syracuse advertising executives which worked on a voluntary basis to develop marketing and promotional campaigns designed to enhance the city's image. This committee was responsible for procuring a new city logo, as well as development and implementation of the ""Heart of New York"" and ""Dunk Your Junk"" campaigns. 1977 - 1980 Art Director, G.
