I am a fitness enthusiast, athlete, coach, personal trainer, and group exercise instructor. I have a passion to help people either reach new goals in their fitness or just begin. I am well versed with adapting routines to fit all audiences; my PhD focused on exercise among people with severe mental illness, and all the work was low impact cardio and resistance training, with modifications for those challenged. The spin/strength class I teach is for all people, I get a lot of athletes, and it is focused more on their needs as an athlete depending on the part of the training season they are in. One hour of mixed spin and off the bike strength, I use time, not repetitions, and body weight, with other medicine balls and dumbells. Simple, but challenging. I recently started a full body workout class, and its very popular among athletes and the general population. I love to help people help themselves get more fit, and I am so happy when they keep coming back because they tell me its fun, not boring, and a serious workout that goes by really quickly.
