I have been involved in fitness since playing touch football as a kid.  I have participated in little league baseball, football, swim and diving team.  Throughout High School I have been a member of the football team, bowling team and volleyball team(which I earned county and state recognition).  After HS I played on USVBA teams up to the highest level of AA, engaged in beach doubles tournaments and began to gain an interest in group fitness.  Although not certified at the time I taught both aerboic and step classes at Colonial Hills Fitness in the 1990's.  Dance became part of my life and remained in my life for the last 22 years, as I have earned a BA from UNLV in this art form.  Dance has allowed me to perform in Denmark, New York and many states across the United States.  Yoga came into my life nearly 12 years ago, under the careful teachings of seasoned yogis I began to hone my own skills and I have been teaching off and on for the last 10 years.  Most recently, the last 3 1/2 years I have taught on a regular basis to classes ranging from 15 to 70 patrons.  Over the last few years I have engaged in group fitness receiving numerous certifications(with the plans to acquire even more).  I am currently certified to teach Indoor Cycling, Zumba, CX WORKS, TRX Suspension Training and I also have my AFAA Group Certification.  My desire to change people's lives has been on overdrive for the last four years with both dance and group fitness.  Never do I shy away from a challenge and never do I instruct something I am confident I know well enough to teach others.
