Lisa Aneiva

After starting her own ceramics business in 2010, Lisa was so busy that she struggled to find time to exercise. She finally tried a Zumba class because she heard it was fun and, quite honestly, was only looking for a break from the stress of running her business.  After her first class, she knew that Zumba was her ticket for getting back into shape! Lisa believes Zumba is a winning exercise choice because it is FUN (people really look forward to class!), gives amazing results, and is easy to pick up whether you have one day a week or seven. Since Lisa has a background in dance, finding Zumba is like coming home again. During her "dancing days" people would say to her, "I wish I had the talent to dance! it looks so fun." With Zumba, even the people who think they have two left feet will surprise themselves and have a blast - they really can move to the music! It is not hard to follow...and it IS fun!

Lisa grew up performing and competing in ballet, tap, jazz and gymnastics. She was on her high school gymnastics team (her favorite event was bars!) and as an adult she competed as a figure skater in the USFSA Adult National Figure Skating Championships.

Lisa decided to become a Zumba instructor to inspire other people to join her in this journey of getting in shape and staying that way. She founded FITloose Heatlh & Fitness, a not-for-profit corporation created to help people have fun while staying active and choosing a heathy lifestyle (www.fitloose.org) so that she could take Zumbatomic programs to kids in local elementary schools.
