I was born in Little Rock, Arkansas were I graduated high school as captain of my dance team, student council president and 1996 Homecoming Queen of North Little Rock High School. Next, I went to Arkansas State University as a dance team member and choreogrpher. After a full year major in communications to be a television broadcast anchor, I moved to California and studied kinesiology and anatomy at Golden State College. After 4 years, I moved to Warner Robins, Georgia and immediately fell in love with group fitness instructing! I started with step aerobics then power. Once Zumba Fitness became popular, I jumped on the bag wagon very quickly! My classes are extremely popular averaging over 50 particpants in a medium size group fitness room; which is why we now have classes back to back. Dance is and always has been a passion, but since I've lost so many loved ones to diabetes and hypertension like my hero, my Grandma Pearlie Mae, I am more thrilled by the results of each person that enters my class and gets addicted!
