I teach yoga. After distance running and aerobics for nearly twenty years, I found an alternative to the high-paced, repetitive exercise that is so common today. My teaching style focuses on power flows, deep stretch, balancing and restorative poses. I have found that this format, regardless of level, provides students with a sense of satisfaction, accomplishment, and deep relaxation, a characteristic that is often overlooked. My students finish session feeling refreshed, rejuvenated and ready for life!
My passion for practicing and instructing outdoors runs deep. I believe that connecting with nature in this way is therapeutic for the body, mind and soul.
Personally, my active healthy lifestyle allows me to enjoy life at its fullest. I love reading, painting, playing piano, designing accessories and enjoying wine and gourmet food with good company.
