 Kevin Glenn :  Director of Tennis/Head Coach/Pro  

   Ke Kevin Glenn has twenty years of coaching experience in Tennis.  His past is wide spread and consists of lifetime tennisdesk in Walnut Creek, one of the most active clubs in the tri –valley area. A former 5.0 competitive USTA tournament player who graduated from  the Satellite Tennis Circuit.  He brings a wide range of people skills and experience in many areas of Tennis and our Club. He began teaching tennis in the East Bay in 1992 as a Recreational Coach in the San Ramon-Contra Costa County area.  Teaching Adult and Jr. Private Sessions, Clinics, etc.  and running a Youth Summer Camp every Year.  His first and only love beyond his family, his son and golf, is playing tennis and teaching others to learn everything they can to improve to achieve any level they are willing to work toward. Kevin has taught at all levels of tennis.

   His most recent position at WCTC gave him the extra skills to perfect his own tennis beliefs and philosophies that relate to our Clubs requirements to improve and add to your game, coach you to play at the next level, all while having fun and getting a workout.  He will include in his sessions the coaching of endurance, accuracy, shot strategy, net play, court positioning, strokes and above all to have fun.  Coach Kevin carries professional liability insured backed by USPTA.  

  His previous tennis position at the Walnut Creek Tennis Center prepared him well before his current position.  This is his Dream position of a lifetime when he came on board.  The position of Director of Tennis /Head Coach/Pro was always Kevin’s lifelong dream he has consistently worked toward his entire career.  He is working diligently now to run a successful program as Director of Tennis. 

  Always remember all successful pro or amateur players utilize a tennis coach to help them spend their mental efforts winning matches on court. They practice this way so every move, motion, stroke, serve, court position, net approach or overhead smash comes from muscle memory developed with sessions with their coach.
