I found Zumba Fitness in May 2011 and instantly became hooked. Prior to starting the class, I was in the worst physical shape ever – overweight, had very little energy, joints/knees hurt, back hurt and was feeling really bad about myself. Luckily, Zumba Fitness came to the rescue! I finally decided to take control of my health/fitness, because it’s a choice. I started doing Zumba Fitness three days a week, but LOVED it so much that I bumped it up to four days a week — I couldn’t get enough of it. The music, the rhythms, and the upbeat/liberating feeling you get in class is incredibly contagious. I KNEW immediately that I had found a lifetime passion. The BONUS is I started to see results within the first month!
Zumba Fitness has changed my life; I’ve lost over 100 pounds and counting since May 2011! It has completely jump-started my healthy lifestyle and I’m looking forward to “paying it forward” so that others can achieve their fitness goals too. Because if I can do it, ANYONE CAN DO IT TOO!!!! #itsachoice!
