Howdy!
My name isCourtney Bevil. I am a 21 year old Group Fitness and Specialty Program Instructor and senior at Texas A&M University. I grew up doing a little bit of everything in the way of extracurricular activities. I have done everything from dance, gymnastics, and horseback riding, to competitive canoe racing and backpacking. I fell in love with fitness my freshman year at Texas A&M. After I attended my first Zumba class, I was hooked! I have been taking fitness classes as well as teaching them ever since. I currently teach Zumba twice a week, and am an Assistant Instructor for Dance Cardio Party and Pilates. I have attended seminars for zumba, kickboxing, step aerobics, aquatics, nutrition, and latin dance. By attending these seminars, I am constantly growing my knowledge base as a fitness professional. I have years of experience teaching students as young as age four to active seniors. I am extremely comfortable working with students who are English language learners as well. I have taught young students in a bilingual setting and at an English immersion camp for students from Mexico. These experiences, coupled with my love for fitness, and respect for other cultures makes me a great choice to lead group fitness and specialty dance instruction for your program.
Respectfully,
Courtney Bevil
