Radha Romero

Radha has been absorbing dance since she was a child. As a young and eager dancer, she would accompany her mother to belly dance classes where she’d anxiously await the time when class finished, when she’d gather the descending veils and reawaken the wind carried throughout each students’ movements. She spent her chidhood in ballet and gymnastics classes and presented self-produced performances to her friends and family. Radha is a contributing member of Joweh R.A.W., an award-winning bellydance fusion dance troupe based in the northbay area of California. This troupe has won best performaing arts dance company three years in a row on the Bohemian's Best of the Bay contest, as well as placing in the top three of a the national Yellow Rose Belly Dance competition. She’s a trained opera singer and pianist who uses her musical ear to interpret the rhythms and sounds of the percussive qualities of middle eastern and latin music. Most recently she has earned her Zumba certification and loves teaching this amazing fitness program to the masses!
