Ellie Shefi

Hello!  My name is Ellie and I'm a Zumbaholic! :)  I started as a Zumba student 7 years ago and was quickly bitten by "the bug."  After fellow students kept asking me to become an instructor, I took the plunge!  I'm now licensed to teach Zumba, Aqua Zumba, Zumba Gold, Zumba Toning, Zumba Gold-Toning, Zumba Sentao, and Zumba Core.  I have been blessed to teach all walks of life at many different studios locally, and I have been blessed to share the Zumba love with people worldwide as a Zumba Instructor for Celebrity Cruise Lines.  I have had the privilege to teach Zumba onboard the Celebrity Solstice, Celebrity Millennium, and Celebrity Infinity, and I have loved every second of it!

I take my job as a fitness professional very seriously, and have therefore gone on to get my AFAA and AEA group exercise fitness professional certifications.  Additionally, I have taken courses on Healthy Lifestyle Principles and Foundations of Group Exercise.  I remain current on all CPR Pro, Oxygen Administration, First Aid, and Bloodborne Pathogen certifications as well.
