I have been a fitness enthusiast for years. After my daughter was born six years ago and I suddenly became a single mom, I discovered kickboxing at a local kickboxing gym, Fierce Fitness. I quickly became addicted to the fun, face paced classes. Punching and kicking the bags after work was a great release of stress from my challenging job and single parenthood. I soon started a kickboxing bootcamp program, 5 days a week, which included a nutritional component as well. I had great results from the program and after about a year, I was asked to train as an instructor at Fierce Fitness. I have been teaching kickboxing and boot camp classes at Fierce Fitness for two years.

In January 2013, I went through the GRIT (Gradually Ramping Interval Training) Program with Journey Gym.I am a certified GRIT trainer and teach classes using the Journey Gym, a compact, portable universal gym.

Through Journey Gym, I help run corporate wellness programs and 70 Day Challenges.

This year, I decided that I wanted to become a personal trainer. I completed my Personal Training Certification through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. I have recently started training my own clients.
