My name is Breanna Douglas and I am a first year Spinning Instructor as well as a first year Middle School teacher. I am 22 years old and have been very active my entire life. Throughout high school I ran track, was on the cheerleading squad and played soccer all year roung. While in college I played club soccer and was on the ALANA Step Team. To be a part of this team our group had to be physically strong and capable of long and hard routines. Along with simply being a performing team member I was also the public ralations officer and the physical trainer assistant. With our own personal trainer I helped to create workouts for the team in order to increase their strength and endurance for our performances.
I really got into Spinning with in the past year and completely fell in love with the program. Their are many different variations of indoor cycling, but I find the Spinning and Les Mills Programs to be the most challenging. I am jsut starting to teach Spinning at a group fitness facility by the name of Studio 55 so I plan to work on creating more profiles before applying to teach abroad, but it is something that I am very interested in. Fitness has always been something that had kept my life on track. When I had a long day at school or a bad day at work I always knew I could take out my frustration at the gym. I think giving people the option to workout and enjoy their vacations at the same time is an ideal set up. From my own personal experience, I always loved heading to the gym early in the morning or going for a run on the beach just to energize your body and get your perfect day started.
