Married mother of two children. Started working at Melrose Wakefield Hospital in 1995 as a nurses aide, working there as a nurse since 2005. Started working as a Zumba instructor and Group X Instructor in 2009 for Al Tassel (owner and operator of several gyms) until present. Started working at Melrose MA YMCA in 2010 until present teaching Zumba and Group X classes. Certified CPR/BLS Instructor for the AHA since 2006. Became Board Certified in Emergency Nursing in 2009. Currently enrolled in Masters in Nursing Education Program. Certified in Basic Life Support, Advanced Life Support, Pediatric Life Support and Non-Violent Crisis Prevention and Intervention, and completed FEMA training through the Emergency Management Institute. Certified Personal Trainer since 2013. Member of the American Association of Critical Care Nurses, Idea Fitness, American Nurses Association, American Heart Assiciation, Emergency Nurses Association. AFAA, NCCPT, and Zumba Fitness Inc.
