At a very young age of 13-years old, during her pre-professional ballet career, Taylor developed her love for Pilates while undergoing rehabilitation for dance injuries. Her deep understanding and enjoyment of body movement, she had experienced in years of ballet, enhanced her passion for Pilates and the desire to help others experience the same.
Graduating from the Core Dynamics Teacher Training Program, based in Santa Fe, New Mexico, under the mentoring of Margeaux Raymond, Taylor received her 500- hour comprehensive certification. Core Dynamics, designed by Michele Larsson, teaches the historical Pilates Method, as taught by Eve Gentry. Taylor also received her Pilates Method Alliance certificate, becoming a PMA® Certified Pilates Teacher.Through her with years with her mentors Margeaux Raymond of RedDance and Marissa Lins of Madison Pilates and the Midwest Pilates Institute, Taylor refined her skills from extensive training. She taught a wide variety of clients, attended and assisted in many workshops as well as teacher trainings, and became a Regional Mentor of the Midwest Pilates Institute; all the while building upon her experience in the proper method of Pilates.
Taylor is humbled as she takes on an On-Site Faculty position with Balanced Body’s education program. This opportunity is a dream come true and will allow her to continue her love of traveling and teaching Pilates education trainings. She is honored to be apart of the Balanced Body family.
Taylor enjoys Pilates education as well as, any other mind/ body modalities and values the time she gets to be a student. She has participated in many workshops, conferences, and trainings such as: Anatomy in 3 Dimensions, Balanced Body Education Trainings, Balanced Body Faculty Training, Pilates on Tour, PMA conferences, pre and post- natal Pilates workshops, a yoga immersion program, loving-kindness meditation workshops, Vedic Thai Conservatory training, Yoga Lifecoach Training, Bali Spirit Festival, just to name a few.
Giving back to the community is what she loves most and likes to show her love and support in many ways. Taylor feels blessed and is reminded every time she walks into her studio to work with the beautiful community InnerPeace has grown. She is looking forward to what the future holds, as it looks very exciting.
