Rachel Liston

Rachel’s Dance Studio opened in Thornton, Colorado in September of 1992 under the ownership and direction of Bryan and Rachel Liston.   Our 1^st studio was an old barber shop in a shopping center.  We fixed it up and turned it into a dance studio.  We had 6 great years at that location.  In 1998 we moved our family back to Utah.

In October of 1998 Rachel's Dance Studio Too! opened in the basement of Rachel’s home in West Jordan.  We had 3 great years dancing in the basement and we were excited when we had the opportunity to expand.

In October 2001 we opened our new big studio in West Jordan.  It was our dream studio, everything we ever wanted.  Bryan designed the studio and built it.  In 2004 we opened a studio in Herriman, Utah.  After 7 years and a hard economy, we were forced to move back into our basement in November 2008.

 During the last 20 years our students have won many 1st place awards as well as many high point awards at competitions.  Our dancers have danced at many places such as Disneyland, the Disneyland Hotel, The Epcot Center in Florida, Las Vegas, A Bahamas Cruise Ship, the 2002 Winter Olympics, the Disneyland Christmas Parade, The Festival of Trees, competitions and at several Utah Jazz game pre-shows.  

Rachel’s dance Studio now teaches at several day care centers and is the official dance studio of the Magna Rec Center.
