Worked as a registered professional nurse 18 yrs; avid runner from early 20's- late 30's; began strength training & fitness classes to enhance running & skiing; started teaching as a way to stay motivated & stave off injury. I am 58 yrs old, 5'9" & 137lbs. I enjoy the outdoors & have attended surfing camp in California, tried SUP in Bermuda last year, love hiking, skiing & horseback riding. My fitness goal is to stay healty & injury free, & the goal of my classes is be sure they are safe, enjoyable, & hopefully, effective. Of everything I do, I am probably most competent at teaching Yoga. The mind/body/spirit element is what I value most.
