I have always thought of myself as active. I've had a gym membership since I was a child. However, it wasn't until I made working out a regular part of my routine that I realized I wasn't fit at all! I started taking a bootcamp class at my job, the YMCA, and that started the transformation of my body and my life! I lost about 65 pounds in a year and a half and became a fitness fanatic at the same time! It wasn't long before I started teaching the bootcamp class that had peaked my fitness interest in the first place. I currently teach 3 classes at the YMCA, a fast-paced, cardio bumping hip-hop, a challenging muscle toning body conditioning, and Cardio Blast, which is exactly what the name states. I also created a Fitness Facebook page to inspire and motivate those around me. I upload photos for different exercises, and host FREE fitness events around the City of Buffalo. I eventually hope to make this into my life's work because it truly is my passion.
