Joyita Hegde

Ms. Joyita Hegde is a dynamic professional with almost 15 years of experience in information technology. As VP of Client Services at Primus Software Corporation, she is a leader who has consistently achieved record-breaking performance in new business acquisition and business expansion into the Fortune 500 market segments

Her love for dance made her get involved in dance fitness and she loved it so much that she decided to teach in 2011. She has been teaching at Atlanta Fitness and Anytime Fitness since then but decided to add some Bollywood flare to her routines so opened this Bolly Z studio. She enjoys it so much because every class is like having a party and is always a lot of fun!

She is also actively involved in balancing her work her dance with cultural and social responsibility. She has been a key member of many non-profits in GA such as Women in Technology, TechBridge, GMSDC and GWBC. She is currently on the PR/Marketing board for TechBridge and has been instrumental in leading TechBridge into the next generation social media markets. She is also a part of the executive committee for Digital Ball, which is TechBridge’s signature fundraising gala that brings together Atlanta’s technology, business and nonprofit leaders in a celebration of the spirit of philanthropy in the local technology community. She has been active volunteer in Women in Technology for the last 7 years and has served as an executive committee member, for WIT’s Women of the Year awards, last couple of years. She lives WIT’s mission of “promoting the advancement of women in technology” every day by encouraging women from all seasons of life to be the best they can be. She has also been a volunteer for the last 8 years for Agile on the Green, the premier golf charity for the Southeast’s technology community, to benefit Susan G. Komen for the Cure Greater Atlanta. She has been an active member in Georgia Minority Supplier Development Council, Inc. (GMSDC) to help build a stronger, more equitable society by supporting and promoting minority business development. She has served in various roles in Georgia Women’s Business Council (GWBC) which is non-profit organization for certified women's business enterprises in Georgia, North and South Carolina interested in promoting, developing and maintaining business relationships with major corporations, governmental agencies and other women business enterprises. She also served as secretary for Bengali Association of Greater Atlanta to promote and sustain cultural, charitable, educational, and literary activities on behalf of the Indian community of greater Atlanta.

Joyita has a Masters Degree from University of Alabama in Huntsville. She currently resides in Atlanta with her husband Murali, and two boys Dhruv (15) and Yash (7). She enjoys spending time with her boys, meeting new people, shopping, danciing and travelling with her family.
