For years, my passion has always been health and wellness but it has taken me years to try to "bring to life" everything I have been involved in. My career began in 1993 as a Respiratory Therapist in Boston, MA. This experience was extremely rewarding and fueled my desire to make an impact on others lives. This was the beginning of my journey…I knew I couldn’t stop here.

In 2001 I ran the Boston Marathon with the Dana Farber Marathon Challenge Team; it was a run for a great cause and I wanted to see if I could train my mind and body to complete 26.2 miles. I have always tried to exercise, eat well and stay in shape, but had never pushed my body to those limits. I enjoyed every step of the way and was pleasantly surprised at what you can train your body to do. After accomplishing this goal I decided to go for it again in 2002.

I took a little break from Marathon running, but continued to stay involved in fitness mostly keeping to short runs and working out at the gym. At this point I was still very involved in working in the Medical industry and continuing to pursue my niche and passion.

In 2006, my husband and I welcomed the birth of our first child Eddie. In 2008, we were blessed with our son Brady. This was truly the happiest moments of our lives! It was after having Brady and celebrating my 39th birthday, that I made the decision I would ring in my 40th year ( May 8th 2010) in the best shape of my life! Everyone always says that things get much harder after 40; losing weight, exercising, and staying fit… I was compelled to prove them wrong, but along the way ,motivate other people to get fit, feel great, and take control of their lives. I worked to get my certification as a personal trainer/fitness trainer, TRX certification as well as SPIN certification.

In 2011 I followed a passion I have had for a long time; to compete in a fitness competition, and help train others to compete or train like a fitness competitor but not walk the stage.  This passion  turned into helping many clients (some mothers like myself) to take control of their health and wellness.  I wanted to empower as many people as I could to change their lives and take control! Life is not a dress rehearsal…such a true statement if only we could live this!!

I couldn’t make this happen without the constant love and encouragement of my husband Ed. With his continued support I have been able to follow my passions and launch this website. And of course my boys Eddie and Brady, inspire me everyday to love, laugh and stay fit. My family is my true motivation!
