Susie Jungemann

I have been active all of my life, with cheerleading and gymnastics in school.  I started teaching fitness classes in 1985 but have been taking classes since 1976.   I've seen instructors come and go but I've remained constant with my philosophy with the love of my students and my knowledge of fitness for all ages.  I worked as a physical therapists assistant in the early 1990's learning rehabilition and injury prevention.  I owned my own fitness business where I held a government contract with NAS whidbey Island, wa.  (Naval Base).  We provided fitness education and classes for the navy base.  Regular classes for dependants and DOD workers as well as helping the young active duty get in better shape to hold their jobs with the Navy.  Physical Readiness Tests are important for active duty, if they fail, they are let go.  I have taught classes in Maryland and Virginia but mostly in the Seattle area and in Anacortes, WA.  where I currently am teaching a cycing class and CORE conditioning.  My students range from about 28 to 78 years old.  I am very aware of the need of balance as we age and because of my physical therapy experience I can help those students who are needing some rehab in their lives or just prevention, I can include that in my fitness classes.

I have traveled extensively and have mostly been a solo traveler, so I have no problem meeting people and am quite out going.  I was offered a job in Hawaii to teach for resorts but I would have had to move there, which I am not ready to do yet.  

I would love to travel to different resorts and get to know the locals.
