Jer-Lyn Benjamin

Jerri Benjamin’s career has taken her around the world to dance with some of today’s most famous and influential musical artists.  She has performed in an array of nationally broadcast  award shows;  including the Grammy Awards, the Billboard Music Awards, the American Music Awards, MTV’s VMAs, the BET Awards and the World AIDS Day Concert in Capetown, South Africa.

She has toured nationally and internationally with LL Cool J, Keith Sweat, Will Smith, Ciara and TLC.  After performing with PDiddy for the Arista 25th Anniversary celebration, Ms. Benjamin was hired to dance with the first lady of Arista, Whitney Houston, during her sold-out performance at the grand opening of the Aladdin Theater in Las Vegas.

Ms. Benjamin has danced in over fifty music videos; Destiny’s Child, Missy Elliot, Mary J. Blige, Jay-Z, and Outkast.  She has subsequently worked with some of today’s most successful and innovative directors - such as Hype Williams, Dave Meyers, Paul Hunter, and Chris Robinson.

Ms. Benjamin’s choreography resume boasts such names as PDiddy, Keith Sweat, LL Cool J, Blackstreet, Bobby Valentino, and the Atlanta Hawks Dance Team. In addition to her performance with Ms. Houston at the Aladdin Theater, she also contributed choreography for the show.

Ms. Benjamin studied under the tutelage of dance legend, Gary Harrison, as a principal dancer in his contemporary dance company. She recently relocated to Atlanta from Los Angeles, and works as a dance instructor as well as a certified AFAA fitness trainer. 

Jerri is in the process of earning her Bachelor's of Science degree at Georgia State University. Upon completion of her studies, she plans to become a Registered Dietitian and open a fitness and wellness studio where she can impact and transform lives through physical fitness and wellness coaching.
