Lexy has been providing Pilates training in the Bloomington-Normal area since 2006. Her love of Pilates and yoga began 2 years earlier, when she began her practice to improve back issues and overall health and well-being.
 
After experiencing the benefits of Pilates herself, she was compelled to pass it onto others. While working a full-time office job and completing her graduate coursework in Industrial-Organizational Psychology, Lexy began apprenticing at Thrive, a former Pilates studio located in Downtown Bloomington. She trained through Balanced Body University and is continually seeking further knowledge on Pilates, yoga, rehabilitation, and wellness.
 
Now working in the wellness industry full-time, Lexy enjoys assisting her clients in conditioning their bodies and hearing how Pilates and yoga transcends into other aspects of their lives. She believes that a strong mind-body connection and functional, thoughtful movement are essential to injury prevention and the rehabilitation process.
 
When not training, Lexy enjoys cooking for her loved ones, practicing yoga, traveling, outdoor-adventuring, listening to music, and working toward her professional certification as a Yoga Therapist.
