My name is Stephanie Cavazos I was an elementary school teacher and administrator for over 10 years prior to becoming a yoga instructor. I have been practicing yoga for about 7 years. I received my teacher training in October 2012 at the Vastu School of Yoga in Isla Mujeres, Mexico. I teach and practice a style of yoga called Sivananda yoga developed by physician Swami Sivanvanda in the 1930's. This yoga is structured around 5 basic principles to provide the foundation for a long and healthy life these include proper relaxation, proper exercise. proper diet, proper breathing and positive thinking and mediation. This style of yoga is suitable for anyone and everyone regardless of age, condition, or religion.
