I began my Yoga journey as a teenager, but rediscovered it after the birth of my children, and since then I have used yoga as my physical and spiritual practice. In 2010, I became a Yoga Alliance Certified teacher. On my yoga path I have been blessed with the opportunity to study with many great teachers such as Brian Kest, Maria Garre, Shean Corn, Shiva Rea and Jason Crandle. I love learning and I am often taking workshops and classes to further my knowledge, so I can pass it on to my students.
In 2012 I join Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy a healing modality than combines ancient Yoga practices and modern Body Center Psychotherapy for a deep exploration of the mind/ body and spirit connection in the present moment.
I believe that learning how to be present in each moment, whether through yoga, meditation or creativity, is essential to self-growth, listening to one’s body sensations, thoughts, emotions, and intuitive wisdom, gives one the awareness needed to create change and positive transformation.
I currently teach Vinyasa, Hot and Hatha yoga styles in different studios in Thornhill, Richmond Hill, and Vaughan. I also teach Kids Yoga, Older Adults and Corporate groups and I offer private classes and yoga therapy sessions.
As an instructor and a therapist, I strive to create a healing environment and present students with fundamentals of the practice. My intention is to assist others physically, mentally, and spiritually by incorporating and sharing the skills and experiences that I have acquired.
