As a self-described health nut, Renee Dunn makes staying healthy and fit a huge priority. In her spare time, you can find her practicing any number of fitness modalities - power lifting in the gym, running intervals on the treadmill, sweating in a power yoga studio, and hiking through the beautiful outdoors - or experimenting with healthy recipes in the kitchen, often adhering to the guidelines of the Paleo diet. However, working out and maintaining a healthy lifestyle isn't a chore - it's a passion. Renee enjoys being fit and wants you to as well! She believes that exercise should be efficient and effective, but most importantly, it should be fun.  With a knack for choreography after years of dance training, Renee decided to spread her love for wellness through a group fitness ceritfication. In the summer of 2011, she received her certification to teach KickBoxing through the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA), and has been teaching fitness classes at Wesleyan University since then. In her classes, Renee encourages her students to challenge themselves, fostering a sense of accomplishment in a fun and safe environment.
