I started martial arts training at the age of 5 in Tai Kwan Do but not feeling fullfilled in this style of training training, I realized it was not what I wanted to continue. At the age of 7, my parents found Master Kenyons studio.
I have been training at Kenyons studio since 1991 and am currently one of several instructors. 19 years later, I continue to be dedicated to the studio. As a 3rd degree black belt, I will be testing in the near future for his Kyosa Nim (National Federation Certified Instructor) and Sa Bom Nim (4th degree) testing within the next 2-3 years.
I excel at working with students of all ages from kids to the elderly, as well as those of special needs, including the deaf and blind community. I am a volunteer instructor at the Blind Community Center and volunteer my time every Saturday and enjoy it very much! My passion for martial arts is more than just training on a weekly basis but also a lifestyle.
I also lift weights 5 days a week keeping in shape physically and mentally. From being holistic, to having his mind and body awareness of what I eat, this is true dedication that people look to. I am passionate about performing and doing demos which I have done since I was a child, demoing with Master Kenyon and many other instructors. I have been a health and wellness consultant for various doctors, regarding nutritional and support programs.
I am also proficient at the art yoyoing and have competed on several occassions. :)
