Melissa Smith

Melissa's yoga journey, beginning in 2003, deepened in 2010 when a hectic professional life led her to recognize the healing benefits - physically, mentally, and emotionally - of a dedicated practice. Yoga provided an antidote to anxiety and a way to move beyond the stresses inherent in a busy life by accessing a deeper awareness through meditation-in-motion. She practices various styles, such as Ashtanga, Iyengar, Jivamukti, and Vinyasa Flow. Melissa completed her RYT 200 in Hatha Yoga through Marianne Wells Yoga School in Costa Rica in 2013 and offers clear alignment instruction to create a safe atmosphere for sequences that enliven the body while calming the mind.
