I am an enthusiastic, retired Marine with 20+ years in fitness. I am dedicated to training and supporting personnel in achieving their fitness goals. While serving as a Drill Instructor in the Marine Corps, I received the AFAA Primary Group Exercise Certification in February 1996. I later received a Kickboxing, Personal Fitness Training, Aqua Fitness, Pilates, and MAT Sciences I and II certification/workshop experience through AFAA as well. I also received a Spinning certification through RevMasters. Since receiving my initial primary certification, I have been teaching non-stop for 11+ years, averaging two to four classes a week. I mainly instruct military servicemembers, government employees, and their families. I have also worked at the local YMCA as the group exercise coordinator and have trained potential new instructors in Kickboxing and Power Pump. I continually seek new information on fitness through many venues, such as fitness conferences, broadcast programs, articles, online research, etc. I had the pleasure of representing Fit Bodies at Breezes Bahamas in 2002 as a Group Exercise Instructor; it was a pleasurable experience that I am looking forward to experiencing again!
