Jorge Mauricio Camargo

Mauricio Camargo was born in Cali, Colombia the birth place of Zumba Fitness but raised in Miami, FL. He began dancing at the age of 12 and made a career as a professional dancer sharing the stage with big names in the music industry as "Winsin y Yandel" "Gloria Trevi" and "Chayane". Zumba Fitness found Mauricio as he worked as the leading choreographer for a distinguished dance studio in Miami. Ever since Zumba has become not only a career but a passion for him. His extensive dance background serves as a platform for his unique and creative style as a Zumba Jammer. Mauricio Camargo is one of the first Zumba® Rhythm Jammers and was featured in the Cosmic ZumbaWear Campaign and as a model for the latest ZumbaWear Line. He is a rising star and an Instructor to keep an eye on.
