I am a certified and licensed Athletic Trainer as well as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach; I also have a Nutrition Certification from the International Society of Sports Nutrition. My personal journey to wellness was a long and difficult one.....and one that continues to require constant adjustment and awareness. I was a competitive athlete my entire life until chronic illness forced a premature departure from collegiate soccer. My drive for sports was redirected towards becoming an Athletic Trainer and I excelled clinically and academically in my undergraduate and graduate programs. Through my studies and work with athletes, I gained extensive practical knowledge in anatomy and physiology, injury prevention, and the management of a multitude of injuries and illnesses. I absorbed a variety of fitness philosophies along the way, including an advanced yoga practice. Nicole’s sports medicine training has provided her with extensive knowledge of anatomy and physiology, as well as prevention, recognition, and management of injuries and illnesses. She has extensive knowledge of various nutritional lifestyles including the raw diet, vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free diets. Having completed her Master’s degree in May 2013, Nicole is now progressing through an intensive yoga teacher-training served to deepen her knowledge, awareness, and understanding of the mind-body connection. She has a profound understanding of what it takes to confront and overcome obstacles and is driven to help others who are facing challenges or pursuing change. This is the passion that has fueled my career path. My Goal Is To Use My Experience, Training, And Education To Create Customized, Results-Oriented Programs That Allow Each Client To Achieve Their Potential With An Approach That Strengthens Both Mind And Body
