After leaving School I went to Paris to Study classical music and then returned to the Uk to study at the Birmingham School of music. Unfortunately music did not workout as a career for me so I moved to London and became involved in the catering industry. I started as a waiter and then worked my way up to General manager. After many years in the industry I realised that I was not happy and decided to retrain by studying part time at an adult education institute. I was determined to follow a passion: Fitness.
After qualifying as a Personal Trainer I was able to combine my previous managerial experience with my new fitness qualifications and work as a fitness manager at a small spa in Somerset and then later Tone leisure in Somerset England. I also continued my fitness education by taking a Pilates course training to work in an exercise referral scheme and taking a qualification in chairbased exercise for frail clients.
In 2002 I married a south African and in 2006 I moved to South Africa. After adjusting to my new home in 2008 I deicded to set up small Exercise Studio to enable me to continue teaching pilates, spinning, boot camps and personal training. I also wanted to continue my fitness education with top of the range training so In 2010 I began the Body Control mat work course which I completed earlier this year. And I took my Zumba basic course in Janaury and have since set up three classes in three different small towns in my area. I am proud to be able to bring internationally recognised fitness genres to the most southern tip of Africa
