Michael Arthur

I am an immensely fit 53 year old physical education teacher with a passion for many sports, especially tennis and hockey. I played university tennis and after obtaining my level 2 instructors in 1998, I've been teaching tennis almost every summer since-that's almost 30 years! I have won numerous club championships in Mississauga, OTA titles, a provincial title in 2007 and an ITF championship. 
I recently pivoted to try my hand at pickleball and met with quick success. In recent major tournaments in Canada and the US, I captured 2 bronze, 4 silver and 2 gold medals. Pickleball has consumed me the past 10 months and I am attempting to make inroads on the Senior Pro Tour.

I love to teach general athletics and more specifically tennis, hockey and pickleball.

My wife is also a part-time Body Pump, Body Step, Aqua and Yoga instructor who has taught many fitness vacations too. We are quite an active family which includes my two daughters (13 & 16).
