I am a retired registered nurse though still working part-time in Occupational/Community Health. I have been practicing Kundalini Yoga for 7+ years. I just completed a very rigorous year long Kundalini Yoga Teachers' Training Course with Mahan Rishi and Nirbhe Kaur at the Khalsa Healing Arts Center in Yardley, PA and am a certified Kundalini Yoga Teacher. I teach at the Khalsa Healing Arts Center now.
Kundalini Yoga is an ancient yoga brought to North America in the late 1960's by yoga master, Yogi Bhajan. It is the yoga of awareness. Through pranayam, kriyas and meditation one is able to raise his or her consciousness. The yoga asanas are rigorous and fun. Kundalini Yoga is not a religion (I am not religious) but is a technique to enable you to connect with your higher consciousness. I love teaching it!
I have traveled extensively throughout the world and am comfortable with all types of individuals and groups of people and would love the opportunity to teach this remarkable yoga through Fit Bodies.
