Kellie Love is a professional dance instructor, competitor and choreographer. She brings a love of personal expression and helping others to all her work. A certified teacher of multiple styles of movement—including ballroom, yoga and pilates—Kellie combines technical mastery with her intuitive sense of rhythm and inner passion. Though she is a Cleveland resident, she actively pursues the newest trends in dance by attending classes in larger markets, including EDGE Performing Arts Center in Los Angeles, California.

Kellie began her dance training at the age of 6 at the University of Cincinnati’s prestigious College Conservatory of Music. At age 8, she performed in The Nutcracker for the Cincinnati Ballet. Her professional dancing career began with SAFMOD, a former dance ensemble where she was featured as a “b”-girl, modern dancer, and a performer on "silks" (an art that is performed in the air on heavy scarf-like material). As a breakdancer, she battled in Scribble Jam, one of the nation's biggest hip-hop festivals that also attracted a young Eminem. Kellie's breaking and hip-hop experience is what led her to become a member of the Cleveland Cavaliers’ Scream Team.

After the completion of her first season on the Scream Team, she became a professional jazz dancer for the Cavalier Girls cheerleading squad. Kellie also put in time with the Cleveland Gladiators Goddesses, a dance team for Cleveland’s professional arena football franchise.

It was during her studies of numerous different dance styles that Kellie began to take ballroom classes on the side. Soon enough, ballroom became a full-time love of hers. Currently she is an active competitor on the scene, having earned such titles as Ohio's “Fred Astaire Closed Rhythm Champion” and “Fred Astaire Dance Challenge Mix and Match Champion.”

Additional credentials of Kellie also include performing as the opening act (along with the Scream Team) for the Black-Eyed Peas; choreographing and performing for recording artist Soneboy; and guest-performing for Dancing With the Stars at Sea.

Kellie feels like she was meant to help others tap into their great (often hidden) internal selves as “movers.” Her high-energy yet nurturing style lovingly pushes her students to become better aware of the capabilities of their own bodies. "Our bodies are beautiful machines gifted to us. My hope is to be one of the ambassadors to the awakening of just how amazing each person can be."
