I am the ultra fitness enthusiast! I love life and have the desire to bring everyone along for the ride. How better can this be done by being healthy and fit in all areas?
I have been a dancer all of my life but somehow in my adult life, I ended up managing a Medical practice for a number of years, just barely making time for myself to get to the gym or my dance classes because of work or family. After my job relocated to Virginia, I found myself unemployed looking for work and needing a way to destress during my search. I found my way back to the gym on a regular basis and started to take training more seriously. While there I saw children who loved dance but had no instructor. I was invited to volunteer as the dance instructor for the afterschool program and developed a program that was fun and successful. While working there my love for fitness and dance swept through the center and I was invited to become a consultant which led to my employment with the department. I was so excited that I could teach fitness and dance to the participants and help the fitness community grow. I found people who wanted to do much more than exist in the gym so I developed One Body Movement Management. Which was developed to provide opportunities for the gym family to become more than just people who work out together, we hold retreats, fitness walks encourage one another in our own personal endeavors and develope life long alliances.
I have been able to use my gift of teaching to bring health and fitness to the disabled, to the church, and to the youth. I have been blessed to not only bring this life changing experience to the masses but the opportunity to meet so many on this journey has changed my life as well.
