I am a mother of three daughters. I have stayed home to raise them, for 15 years now. Two years ago I took my first Zumba class, and I was hooked. My love of music and dance was awakened. It took a few months (6) to get into the groove, and be able to really work out consistantly with Zumba. The first year, I worked off 20 lbs! I was so inspiried by the Zumba instructors, that I followed a few girls to various fitness places to take their classes. After the first year, I was taking up to 6 classes each week. Since January of this year, I have lost another 18 pounds just with Zumba classes, and I am in the best shape ever because of ZUMBA. This past April I turned 47, and my gift to myself was getting a license to teach Zumba. I have really enjoyed this fitness trek. Now I am teaching 5 classes a week, and taking another 3 for personal enjoyment. The exercise I am getting is helping me with the stress of motherhood! I am so lucky to be doing what I like to do.
I was a professional cheerleader with the Indianpolis Colts, and I also cheered in the World League football with Ohio Glory, and the Arena league of Columbus Thunderbolts. Back in High school I was on the drill team, and also one year in college. I went to Butler University, and hold a BA in Liberal Arts and Sciences.
Now I am a stay at home Mom of 3 daughters, and a Zumba instructor and fan.
